6:30 AM: Check-in at Ma’alaea Harbor. Public Parking is available.
7:00 AM: Depart for Molokini Crater
7:15 AM: Continental Breakfast. Snorkeling for beginners training (optional)
11:30 AM: Deli lunch
12:00 PM: Arrive at harbor
Breakfast Includes:
Scones, fresh fruit (pineapples, honeydew, cantaloupe, and grapes), hot coffee and water.
Lunch Includes:
Deli sandwich: Turkey/provolone, ham/swiss, or roast beef/cheddar, with lettuce, sliced tomato, sliced cucumber, and condiments. Housemade veggie patty (for vegetarian meal requests)
Tricolor pasta salad Mediterranean style includes artichoke hearts, red onion, sundried tomatoes, Kalamata olives, Spanish olives, and feta cheese. All these ingredients are mixed in a tarragon herbal white balsamic vinaigrette.
Quinoa salad (for gluten-free meal requests): toasted quinoa, chopped cucumber, red onion, red bell peppers, and tomatoes lightly mixed with a pomegranate balsamic glaze.
Chocolate chip cookie: made with our own house recipe.
Water, soda, and Hawaiian Sun.

- Participants should be comfortable floating face down in deep water.
- Arrive 30 minutes before departure to find and pay for parking.
- Full-face snorkel masks are not allowed.
- Alcohol is BYOB and can only be consumed at the conclusion of in-water activities.
- Wildlife sightings such as sea turtles and whales are not guaranteed.
- We may cancel due to weather or insufficient passengers at short notice.
- We do not deploy our waterslide at the crater.
- Cancellation Policy: To get a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the experience starts.

Marine Life You Might See
When you embark on a Molokini Crater Snorkeling adventure, you’ll encounter some of Maui’s most fascinating marine life. Molokini Crater’s clear waters make it easy to spot brightly colored butterflyfish, curious yellow tangs, and graceful Moorish idols swimming through vibrant coral reefs. FAQ’s
DO I NEED TO HAVE EXPERIENCE SNORKELING?
Snorkeling experience is not necessary. You need to be comfortable in the water and should be able to swim without the aid of any equipment. You should be comfortable floating on your stomach. Our crew will show you how to use the snorkel equipment. We have flotation devices, wetsuits, swimming noodles, and boogie boards available to keep swimmers comfortable during our excursions.
IS SNORKELING SAFE?
The Hawaii Health Department says, “You should be comfortable in the water and able to swim without any equipment.” You should be comfortable floating on your stomach. We have flotation devices, wetsuits, swimming noodles, and boogie boards. These items help you float and watch the wildlife.
DO YOU OFFER SNUBA?
We discontinued our SNUBA program. Once aboard the Lani Kai II, you will notice a much smoother touring experience. There won’t be the clutter that can be common with SNUBA tours. Our guests love the new experience!
IS THERE A KAMA'AINA RATE?

ARE THERE VEGETARIAN OPTIONS?
Yes. Our meals offer a variety of vegetarian options. We can also accommodate a variety of diet specifications restrictions. Just call us at (808) 244-1979 with specific requests, and we’ll do our best to help you.
CAN WE USE A FULL-FACE SNORKELING MASK?
No. We do not allow full-face masks on the Lani Kai II. But, we do provide all of your snorkeling equipment at no additional cost.
DO YOU OFFER TRANSPORTATION?
We do not offer transportation but there are plenty of options on Maui, no matter where you are staying.
ARE SERVICE ANIMALS ALLOWED ON TRIPS?
We have limited space on our tours. Advanced notice is required for guests booking with a service animal. Reach out to our reservations staff so we can know how to best assist you.
